Putting the finishing touches on the new Super VIP Experience, we are thrilled to release the 2019 backstage dining menu presented by Telluride’s celebrated chef John Gerona.
The all-inclusive Super VIP Pass lets you experience the festival at the highest level possible with on-stage access to the Ajax Sky Lounge & Sky Deck Viewing Platform, a decadent, gourmet chef "show cooking" station, an open bar with a personal mixologist, backstage catered meals, on-demand golf cart shuttle, artist meet-and-greets and so much more all surrounded by stunning alpine views.

Chef John Gerona
Chef John Gerona was born in Geneva, Switzerland. His cooking style is greatly influenced by his Spanish father and Italian mother along with his many European travels. His culinary expertise developed in New York City where he graduated from the French Culinary Institute of America and then worked at many fine dining restaurants including Arcadia. After working in Spain, France, and Italy he relocated to Telluride in 1987. Here he has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. He has previously worked as a chef for La Marmotte and Allred's restaurants along with his first business venture, the popular Pacific Street Market, that he opened along with his wife Janice.
Johnny Has been in the kitchen and worked with such notable chefs as Paul Bocuse, Jean Georges Vongerichten, Douglas Rodriguez, Alain Ducasse and Anne Rosensweig. Johnny is currently the owner and Chef of The Village Table Restaurant and has been the chef at local fine dining establishments such as La Marmotte Restaurant, Allreds and The Silverglade. He has run Bread and Roses catering for 29 years and has catered the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival for 24 years growing from simple sandwiches and cookies on Main Street in 1994 to serving over 5,000 meals during the festival weekend.
Johnny lives in Ophir, Colorado and is married to Janice with two grown daughters Nina and Emma.
